SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed about the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is sassa to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and here there's no fully functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The company point produced for intervention encounters a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and improve usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
